When You DON’T KNOW what God is doing … TRUST HIM! – Ecclesiastes 11-12 – 2026 Day 70

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 38, Ecclesiastes 11-12

“He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.”

Ecclesiastes 11:4-5 ESV

“My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.”

Ecclesiastes 12:12-14 ESV

Does Life Feel Meaningless? – Ecclesiastes 9-10 – 2026 Day 69

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 37, Ecclesiastes 9-10

Life feels meaningless without having an eternal purpose. I’ve been there. it’s miserable. But there’s a way out!

Ecclesiastes 9:2 ESV — It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who swears is as he who shuns an oath.

… [God] has put eternity into man’s heart …

Being Patient in Trials – Ecclesiastes 7-8 – 2026 Day 68

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 36, Ecclesiastes 7-8

Ecclesiastes 7:8-9 ESV — Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools.

Being Patient in the Trials – FormerAtheist58

Psalm 126:5-6 ESV — Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

1 Peter 1:3-9, 13 ESV — Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls…. Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

A Stillborn Baby is Better Off? Personal Reflections from Ecclesiastes 4-6 – 2026 Day 67

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 35, Ecclesiastes 4-6

Getting personal here.

A man may father a hundred children and live many years. No matter how long he lives, if he is not satisfied by good things and does not even have a proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.

For Everything There is a Season – Ecclesiastes 2-3 – 2026 Day 66

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 34, Ecclesiastes 2-3

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down, and a time to build up;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Vanity of Vanities – Nothing is NEW under the Sun – Ecclesiastes 1 – 2026 Day 65

Read the Bible in 2 Years: Psalm 33, Ecclesiastes 1

Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already in the ages before us.

Ecclesiastes 1:10 ESV

None of us – not Elon Musk, not Bill Gates, not President Trump or Charlie Kirk or Billy Graham – can make anything truly NEW. But I know someone who can. Do you know Him?

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Revelation 21:5 ESV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
